From livestock transport to conditioned logistics<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Cuppen\u2019s history is the story of a regional family business that grew into a specialist in conditioned logistics.<\/p>\n

Its origins date back to the early 1900s, when the company started in the center of Horst with livestock transport and auction transport. After the war, former military vehicles were used to make transport more efficient. In the years that followed, four sons of Theo Cuppen joined the business.<\/p>\n

In 1985, Cuppen moved to its current location on Venrayseweg in Horst. In 1987, livestock transport was discontinued and the company set a new course: conditioned transport for the fruit and vegetable sector and the horticultural sector. A year later, the site was expanded with an additional 1,500 m\u00b2 of space to support that growth.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

In 2000, the third generation took over. Marc Cuppen became Managing Director and, since 2012, has been joined by co-director Michiel Sanders. During that same period, a new business activity was added: alongside transport, Cuppen also began supporting customers with refrigerated storage. In response to growing demand, Cuppen Coldstore was established in 2014, with modern facilities for the refrigerated storage of products including planting material and fruit and vegetables.<\/p>\n

By making a deliberate choice to focus on transport and storage for plants and fruit and vegetables, Cuppen has found a niche that offers reliability and a future. At its core, the business is about people solving the puzzle every day. Planners create smart routes and full combinations, while drivers deliver loads safely and on time to their destination. The work requires flexibility and responsibility, and that is exactly what creates pride.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
